THON™ is a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. THON's mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness, and ensure funding for critical research—all in pursuit of a cure. The yearlong fundraising efforts culminate in a 46 hour no-sitting no-sleeping dance marathon.

Dancer Relations Captain - THON Weekend Development
THON 2024 raised $16.9 million in the fight against childhood cancer

Utilize social media for awareness and fundraising efforts

Assist in the coordination of all aspects of the dancer experience

Serve as a primary student liaison to provide emotional and physical support to the 700+ dancers chosen to dance in THON Weekend

Lead a committee of 28 members to ensure the health, safety, and happiness of dancers by teaching skills in situational awareness, medical issue recognition, and injury therapy through weekly meetings
-
Coordinate stimulating alternative events throughout THON Weekend such as THON Salon, Recharge Hours, Candlelight Vigil, and Playground to assist dancers throughout the 46 hours.
